Wow, check this out: a seven inch Columbia record, #714, circa 1903. A male quartet sings the song "Way Down Yonder in the Cornfield". Excellent harmony singing, sound effects, some racist language, a nice listen. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. Columbia started making disc records in late 1901. In 1903, most people had cylinder phonographs, not disc phonographs. This is early disc history, very rare, if this is what you like, do not pass it up!
