Jack Payne Himself 1932 Crystalate 3½” 78rpm record Imperial with orig cover. A good example of an interesting (and also charming!) 3½” 78rpm record from 1932 That has Jack Payne Himself on the first side (A spoken greeting from the famous Band-Leader who has just moved from Columbia Records to Imperial) and the b-side has his signature tune “Say It With Music”. The record is in lovely clean condition and plays fine (luckily my record player is one where you can over-ride the automatic cut-off). It looks EX. (Looking with a magnifying glass there are no scratches). . But typical of this sort of record it plays with hiss and the recording itself is not great. It plays VG to VG+. And it still has the original cover that shows it was made in England by the Crystalite Record MFG. Co. at their Tonbridge works. The cover has a couple of small tears on the front but is complete and clean.
