ZZ TOP--Rio Grande Mud--released 1972 on London XPS 612. This copy is a PRC pressing. This was only the second studio album for the band. The album title was inspired by the Rio Grande river that forms the border between Mexico and the Unites States. We use Goldmine standards to rate our vinyl. We do not just grade under a bright light. We cleaned the record using an MK2 record cleaner with distilled water. We play tested both sides of the record using an Audio Technica ATLP120XUSB turntable. After cleaning and playing we rate the vinyl as VG+. Very slight paper scuffs and few small hairlines present but DNAP. No skips and no background noise. The cover for this album is in VG+ condition, clean, with a still readable spine. Because the cardboard sleeve for this album was made of softer paper,(not glossy) many copies for sale are dirty/worn looking.  This album cover has strong corners, no splits. Has one small corner bump low left. See pictures. This cover looks clean and does have a previous owners name written in lower right corner. Album comes with the original London inner sleeve. Please see attached pictures for details. We have placed the record in a new black paper inner sleeve for protection. The record will ship with a new 3 mil vinyl outer sleeve. We will ship the record securely packed in a cardboard record mailer using USPS media mail rates. If you buy this record we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
