"Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel. ” Psalms 73:24 From time immemorial the enlightened adepts of the INNER ORDER have carefully preserved the training system of the Ageless Wisdom-Religion. Each generation has required rigorously trained leaders to carry on the timeless teachings of these Spiritual Institutions. Ann Davies, spiritual leader of BUILDERS OF THE ADYTUM under inner instruction since childhood, was trained to serve as one of these channels through which Spiritual Truths could be taught . . . truths free of superstitions and nonsense. As steel is tempered by fire, this old soul in a child's body was also subjected to trials, tribulations and Initiations, in preparation for the leadership she was destined to assume. All doors leading outward were closed to her. Thus, she had to learn how to turn inward, which enabled her to see the Spiritual Realities. During these years, the endless hours of meditations would have done credit to a sage twice her age. But this was only a beginning. In 1943 she was led to a little hilltop house where lived and worked a man of profound learning and spiritual insight. This dedicated scholar, the late DR. PAUL FOSTER CASE, was known the world over as the foremost Western exponent of metaphysical thought and practice as contained in the HOLY QABALAH, the TAROT and the HERMETIC SCIENCES. He had completed the incredible, lifetime task of compiling into weekly lessons the practical essentials of the AGELESS WISDOM-RELIGION. He was the Founder of BUILDERS OF THE ADYTUM. In 1954, Dr. Case was summoned to another state of consciousness, but not before he had vested in Ann Davies, as instructed by the INNER ORDER, the responsibilities of leadership which had been entrusted to him. Thus today, Ann Davies, spiritual head and Prolocutor General of B.O.T.A. is still another link in a long and unbroken chain of spiritual leaders of the ancient WISDOM-RELIGION. That this is no myth becomes shortly evident to all, even the least discerning, who come within her sphere of influence. Her God-given talents, enriched by the inspired instructions and sublimated experiences received through the years, have evolved a personality of dynamic spiritual power which exerts a potent and beneficent impact upon all with whom she comes in contact. The unique teachings of Builders of the Adytum were available to a selected few prior to 1956 ... for humanity in general was not yet prepared for such advance spiritual training. But, as scientific experimental verifications brought wider acceptance of many basic mystical truths, the sign of the times indicated that a dawning New Age of Enlightenment was already upon us. Then, and only then, was Builders of the Adytum instructed by the Divine Hierarchy to offer its advanced spiritual training to a larger number of aspirants. Many metaphysically minded people have reached a point in their development where they feel that there is something missing ... a sense of disquietude because of their lack of progress and seeming inability to hold the more constructive states of mind so essential to spiritual development.
