If you're reading this I'll assume you already know how rare and collectible this gem is. I was amazed to have this most sought after and expensive PJ piece in my personal collection and I understand it rarely appears on eBay in an un-opened state. I am the first owner and a longtime record collector who rarely opens vinyl. I purchased this via Pearl Jam's fan club and although I hate to part with it, but I need to buy a new guitar, so I hope the 10 Club management will forgive me as I let go of this and many of my other PJ collectibles in the weeks to come.
By the way I have been selling on eBay as a business since 1998 with over 10,000 positive customer feedbacks. Make this purchase with confidence.
CONDITION: This box set has been stored for more than 10 years (upright) in an album crate with other records. I'd love to tell you it's absolutely mint, but somewhere along the way it's received a few minor bumps & bruises. While it is still in the original factory shrink wrap you can see in the images that the wrap is a bit worn, it's loose in some places and slightly torn in others. Please see the top front right corner, it has minor crease marks and the bottom front right corner has the slightest 1/4 inch start of separation (only visible on close inspection). I always try to describe flaws as honesty as possible, but don't let it scare you this is a very attractive piece. Considering the age and the limited quantity I suspect it's hard to find one in much better "NEW" condition since the original shrink-wrap was so thin and the box doesn't fit into standard resealable bags.
By most accounts this is colored vinyl although I have never seen it. I assume it's a dark burgundy/red like the cover art as seen in the picture I found on the web.
