Excellent proper album (after a series of demos, compiled above) from what is probably Ferniz's most enduring side-project, Isengard. This is a lot more cohesive as an album as opposed to Vinterskugge, although variation in styles is still key, with a lot of folk elements amongst the righteous viking metal and the odd all-out black metal bit that wouldn't be out of place on a Darkthrone record. Excellent!
