Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

 

 

 

This is an auction for: The Beatles – Rubber Soul – Vinyl LP album.

 

Later issue. Silver and black Parlophone/EMI label. Stereo

 

Front laminated non-flipback sleeve.

 

 

 

Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Some light marks/scuffs but plays great).

 

Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Plain white inner is showing its age. There are a lot of yellow/brown foxing marks and general signs of handling. There are a few small tears but overall intact).

 

Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Sleeve has a name written on the back in blue pen. The back of the sleeve also has a lot of yellow/brown foxing marks but is otherwise in really nice condition with the usual light edge creases etc).

 

 

 

 

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

 

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
