 However, I do encourage additional questions, or requests for soundclips, if you're not comfortable with the grading standards used - in order to reduce incidents of returns.  

Grades:

NM -   A near perfect record - new/unplayed

VG+    Clean record, free of major flaws

VG      Record with physical flaws, but plays OK, perhaps with light surface noise

 VG -   More visible flaws than a VG record; but, still plays, with some noise; though, not overpowering

G+/G/Fair  - Records with more flaws than a VG- record [historical, collection fillers of DJ's, with noise reducing equipment]
