On offer here is a new/unplayed copy of the very rare 'Von' double vinyl LP by Sigur Ros.
Released in a numbered limited edition by One Little Indian on 200g vinyl and pressed using the Direct Metal Mastering system, this one is number 0062, so a very low number and one of the first off the presses. I purchased it new when it first came out (which on vinyl was back in 2009), popped it into a brand new polythene sleeve and put it on my record storage rack where it has sat untouched ever since. It has never been played and so remains in factory fresh condition. The album cover is housed within a custom purple plastic outer sleeve, and the records are housed in individual printed inner sleeves. There is a tiny area of damage to the outer plastic cover which was there when it was delivered to me, and I have taken a close up photo of this to try to show how insignificant it is: a small slit about 1cm in length, at the top left corner, and is hardly noticeable unless you look for it. Another seller may not have mentioned it, and I am making it sound worse than it is but prefer to be brutally honest and then have people pleasantly surprised, rather than understate or fail to mention anything and have someone disappointed.
I will ensure that it is extremely
securely packed for safe delivery to the lucky new owner. It will be
packed in a dedicated 'Defenda' record mailer, sandwiched between
additional card stiffeners and with the records (left protected in the inner sleeves) removed from the cover to prevent seam splits to the cover in transit. The Defenda mailer will be
additionally wrapped to prevent dents or other damage ocurring en route
to the buyer. The album will only be despatched by a fully tracked and
insured shipping service to guarantee safe delivery, hence the slightly
high cost, and will
only be sent to the registered delivery address provided by Paypal. You
are also welcome to collect in person and pay in cash (no Paypal if
collecting in person) if you are near enough to do so, saving yourself
the postage cost, though please get in touch if you would like to do
this as I will need to ammend the listing to enable you to purchase
without immediate Paypal payment.
Please could all overseas
buyers check the postage fee before buying and understand that any
customs fees or other import duties are the responsibility of the buyer
to pay. They are not charges levied by me but by the authorities of your
country (if you are outside the EU: there is no additional import fee
within the EU), and I am unable to under declare the value of the parcel
because a full declaration is required in order to provide insurance in
transit.
Please check my feedback and but with confidence.
