Under the auspices of producer , Parker fulfilled a long-held desire to record in a string setting. Plans were made to release the results of the sessions as a ten-inch LP. Sessions from November 30, 1949, yielded the first Charlie Parker With Strings album (Mercury MG-35010), consisting of six songs total, all of which were .  This set is labeled Album C101 on the record labels and C101 on the spine.

This set is in very good condition for it's age.  The records show some usage and are in VG condition.  The Sleeve shows some staining on the front that you can see in the picture.  There are also some rub-throughs on the front and a peeled back piece on the back that can be seen in the picture.  The individual record sleeves on the inside are all still attached and have no rips , writing or tears.
I played this on my stereo and it played and sounded great!
