Glam-rock band Angel, was a concept from Andy Scott and Mick Tucker from Sweet. The band was formed in 1974 from the members of Pebbles, at a time when bands such as Slade, Sweet, Mud and Suzi Quatro were dominating the European charts.

The band members were:

Brian Johnson: (Lead Vocals)
Joe Ryan: (Guitar)
Martin Kemp: (Bass)
Steve Rickard: (Drums)
Bob Banasiak.: (Guitar, Bob replaced Joe in August 1974)

In 1974 Angel released 2 singles through Polydor on its Cube label. Both compositions were written by Andy Scott who co-produced them with Mick Tucker. 'Good Time Fanny' was recorded at Audio International and released on May 24th . 'Little Boy Blue' was recorded at Essex Studios and released on October 24th. The B sides were both written by Angel; Who D'ya Think You're Fooling (B. Johnson, M. Kemp, S. Rickard, J. Ryan) Tragedy Queen (Banasiak, Johnson, Kemp, Rickard).

Both singles, in original vinyl format, are now considered collectors' items.
