Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the finest 1969 CLASSIC PROG ROCK Albums of all time.

In the Court of the Crimson King is the debut studio album by the British rock group King Crimson, released on 10 October 1969. The album reached number five on the British charts, and is certified gold in the United States, where it reached #28 on the Billboard 200.

The album is generally viewed as one of the first works to truly embody the progressive rock genre, where King Crimson largely departed from the blues influences that rock music had been founded upon and mixed together jazz and classical symphonic elements. In his 1997 book Rocking the Classics, critic and musicologist Edward Macan notes that In the Court of the Crimson King "may be the most influential progressive rock album ever released".The Who's Pete Townshend was quoted as calling the album "an uncanny masterpiece".In the Q & Mojo Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock, the album came fourth in its list of "40 Cosmic Rock Albums".The album was named as one of Classic Rock magazine's "50 Albums That Built Prog Rock".

"21st Century Schizoid Man" (including "Mirrors")

"I Talk to the Wind"

"Epitaph" (including "March for No Reason" and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow")

"Moonchild" (including "The Dream" and "The Illusion")

"The Court of the Crimson King" (including "The Return of the Fire Witch" and "The Dance of the Puppets")

VINYL PLAY TESTED EX (The vinyl has some visible surface markingsunder bright light, however I have fully playtested this album and it sounds superb despite this with no sticks, skips or jumps, visually I would grade this LP VG+)

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS , PLEASE ASK ME , YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED

All records are professionally cleaned using a MOTH cleaning system prior to despatch. Not only does this wet clean/vacuuming process remove surface marks such as fingerprints, etc, it also significantly reduces background noise and many argue that the lower noise floor results in opening up of the sound and improved fidelity.

A word about hairline marks. It is almost impossible to find any non-sealed record without any hairline marks - many had them from new, particularly if sold with cardboard inner sleeves. They are a result of storage and use and have little impact on sound quality.

I package my records in the strongest purpose made mailers for maximum safety.

All records are removed from their picture sleeves where appropriate and posted in a separate plain white inner to avoid damage during transit.

The following is the scale I use to grade my records and is to be used in conjunction with the "Hi Res" photos contained in each listing , please buy with confidence.

MINT:

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks

or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT:

The record shows some signs of having been played,

but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The vinyl may have some minor hairline surface scuffs which may be visible.

The cover and packaging might have minor wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:

The record has obviously been played many times,

but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,

is acceptable.

GOOD:

The record has been played so much

that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated.

perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

LEAVING FEEDBACK and UNDERSTANDING DSR SCORES:

I always strive to provide a 5-star service to my customers by stating my policies upfront, answering questions quickly, sending packages daily, and charging *realistic* safe shipping! In eBay's new feedback system, when you give 4 stars it may seem like a great score. For instance, a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly". Ebay, however, considers this a sub-par mark. Their standards require sellers to maintain 4.8 & above, or be penalized with higher fees and lower standing in search results. If you are satisfied with the transaction upon receipt of your item, please don't hesitate to respond with all 5 stars! If you are not pleased, simply contact me and I will work hard to make sure you achieve 100% satisfaction.

If you do need me to consider an issue please take care not to open a case in the resolution centre on ebay before you have contacted me.

Ebay actively encourages members to try to resolve issues together without their involvement.

Payment Policies

I accept the following forms of payment: PayPal.

Shipping & Handling

I offer standard shipping methods to facilitate rapid processing of your order.
