Mint
Absolutely perfect The record should be in brand new condition The Sleeve disc, cover and any other contents should be in perfect condition
Excellent
A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear and only minor signs of being played.
Very Good
A Very Good record will show some signs that it was played There's no major deterioration in sound quality but there maybe slight surface marks or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experiences
Good
A record in Good condition will play without skipping. But the sound quality will probably have deteriorated perhaps with surface noise, mild scratches and visible groove wear this would be a visual inspection only and not tested on a player
Fair
The record is probably just playable does have lots of marks but tested and plays
Poor
The record is badly marked and won't play through without skipping however if you havent got a copy a rare record is better than none
Storing Your Records
Records should not be placed in sunlight or near sources of heat such as radiators, Fires Avoid touching the playing surface use the edges
