Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the finest and rarest 1986 CLASSIC ROCK Albums of all time.
The Queen Is Dead is the third studio album by the English alternative rock band The Smiths. It was released on 16 June 1986 in the United Kingdom by Rough Trade Records and released in the United States on 23 June 1986 through Sire Records. The album spent twenty-two weeks on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at #2. Across the Atlantic, it reached #28 in Canada on the RPM 100 album chart[1] and #70 on the Billboard 200 chart, and was certified Gold by the RIAA in late 1990. It has sold consistently well ever since. The album cover, designed by Morrissey, features Alain Delon from the 1964 film L'Insoumis. In 2013 The Queen Is Dead was ranked the greatest record of all time on NME Greatest Albums of All Time list.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS , PLEASE ASK ME , YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED
All records are professionally cleaned using a MOTH cleaning system prior to despatch. Not only does this wet clean/vacuuming process remove surface marks such as fingerprints, etc, it also significantly reduces background noise and many argue that the lower noise floor results in opening up of the sound and improved fidelity.
A word about hairline marks. It is almost impossible to find any non-sealed record without any hairline marks - many had them from new, particularly if sold with cardboard inner sleeves. They are a result of storage and use and have little impact on sound quality.
I package my records in the strongest purpose made mailers for maximum safety.
All records are removed from their picture sleeves where appropriate and posted in a separate plain white inner to avoid damage during transit.
The following is the scale I use to grade my records and is to be used in conjunction with the "Hi Res" photos contained in each listing , please buy with confidence.
MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.
EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played,
but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The vinyl may have some minor hairline surface scuffs which may be visible.
The cover and packaging might have minor wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
is acceptable.
GOOD:
The record has been played so much
that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated.
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

LEAVING FEEDBACK and UNDERSTANDING DSR SCORES:
I always strive to provide a 5-star service to my customers by stating my policies upfront, answering questions quickly, sending packages daily, and charging *realistic* safe shipping! In eBay's new feedback system, when you give 4 stars it may seem like a great score. For instance, a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly". Ebay, however, considers this a sub-par mark. Their standards require sellers to maintain 4.8 & above, or be penalized with higher fees and lower standing in search results. If you are satisfied with the transaction upon receipt of your item, please don't hesitate to respond with all 5 stars! If you are not pleased, simply contact me and I will work hard to make sure you achieve 100% satisfaction.
If you do need me to consider an issue please take care not to open a case in the resolution centre on ebay before you have contacted me.
Ebay actively encourages members to try to resolve issues together without their involvement.
