Rare Australian-only TV special compilation of Jimi Hendrix Experience titles.

 

Hammard was a budget Australian label who's album releases were heavily promoted on television for more than 10 years. Many of these were recorded specifically for Hammard by some of our best known local artists albeit mostly doing cover versions of their favourite songs. However Hammard's output also included compilations of local and overseas performers. The company enjoyed considerable success,  and many gold and platimum awards were awarded for the label and their artists. However because of their budget price and TV promotion the chart compilers in Australia at the time did not allow them to be included in the album charts.
