Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for:  King Crimson – In the court of the crimson king – Vinyl LP album from 1969.

Pink Rim Island.

A-4U, B-4U Matrixes

Vinyl Condition: VG (Some light marks, light lines and a few very light scratches but nothing major. The record plays great with nice sound quality. There is the odd click and pop but nothing major at all. No sticks or jumps).

Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Inner sleeve has an approx. 5cm split to the left side which has been taped up. Some yellowing from age and some writing in pencil on the top left. Otherwise ok).

Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (The opening of the sleeve has a slight lip towards the top where it looks like it has been guillotined at some point. Could be how it was manufactured, may be a manufacturing error. Apart from this the sleeve is great. There is some light edge and corner wear and some light foxing in places but overall very nice condition gatefold sleeve).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
