12-inch, 33 1/3 RPM LP record albums:

HORACE SILVER QUINTET, 6 Pieces Of Silver. Blue Note 1539. Mint, new, still sealed/unopened/unplayed! Tight plastic wrap, sharp corners -- still has yellow retail sticker on front. Great back cover narrative! OK, here's the dilemma: Popular price guides value this album at either $600 or $200 in Near Mint (and this is better, is new/mint!) if this is the 1957 pressing... but only $50+ if this is the 1963 pressing. The cover apparently makes no mention of being the later date or of being a re-issue, so I'd suspect it's the original pressing.... but apparently the only way to know for sure is to open the record and examine the record labels, and I don't believe we want to open a sealed record.... Ideas, anyone? Please? Ebay does not allow mention here of the better (both for buyer and seller) alternatives because Ebay owns Paypal, allowing them to get away with their excessive fees and other restrictive/disingenuous practices.  U.S. buyers will receive their package via either USPS Media Mail or USPS Priority Mail at the shipping/handling rates calculated in this listing (these rate estimates include USPS delivery confirmation, the Ebay/Paypal shipping surcharges,  and postage & materials/boxes -- I carefully wrap and ship in secure solid corrugated boxes). Or, if you'd prefer, I'd be pleased to work with you re other shipping / pay possibilities. 

COMBINING WINS: Since my group of auctions will end over a tight couple/few day period, it'll be fine to wait re payment so that I can determine the combined shipment cost. In fact, if you have multiple wins or are continuing to bid, PLEASE PLEASE WAIT for my invoice before making payment, so that the total will properly reflect the combined shipping savings to your specific address.  I will issue invoices to all winning bidders after the entire group of auctions has ended.

GRADING: I do my best to grade conservatively, following Goldmine-type grading standards. To be 'Mint', record must be still sealed/unopened in its original packaging; therefore the normal grading sequence for used records (ie opened, unsealed records) is 'Near Mint', 'Very Good', 'Good' - -- please see my excellent feedback and other record auctions.
