I have up for auction a record (One Sided 12" 78) with a plain white label; vinyl material, thus later date. I have acquired a large, very interesting collection of similar items. Someone in the Victor company during the middle or second half of the 1900s pressed a large number of Victor original recordings (some even unpublished); they are not dubs, but first pressings from the Masters; thus as clean as possible. He often wrote the info on the top right of the white sleeves they are in; and sometimes even made copies of labels. This one is a pressing of a 1923 (12/11/23) Victor Matrix No.29063, and Take #4 by Rosa Ponselle, "Aida-Ritorna Vincitor"; Unreleased! The record is in excellent condition, of course, no wear and scuffs and scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean. Thin and flexible vinyl type, thus unbreakable. White sleeve also has corresponding number at top right. On this record the information is etched onto the cream colored label (see 3rd, 4th and 5th pictures).
