Rare original mono pressing of the Lou Donaldson 'Gravy Train' LP on Blue Note Records BLP-4079.  Other musicians include Herman Foster, Ben Tucker, Dave Bailey, and Alec Dorsey. Review copy stamped on back of cover.

Condition: Cover: Some wear on top and opening edge, approx 2" seam split on bottom center (see photos). Vinyl is strong VG to VG+ there are some fine cosmetic surface scratches/surface marks, worst marks appears to be on Side 2 Track 1 ("Candy") and Track 3 (Glory Of Love) I could barely feel a portion of the scratch on Candy, may encounter a few ticks/pops. Quality vintage vinyl Van Gelder mastering plays loud and well.

It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve (former owner wrote on inner sleeve - see photo).

Original NY USA label press 43 West 61 St., New York 23 with RVG stamp and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.

Grading Scale:

10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.

9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.

8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.

7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.

6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.

5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.

4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!

3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
