On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Dark Side Of The Moon" and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the ULTRA RARE 1st Press 'Solid Blue Triangle' Harvest label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL, IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP HAS SOME INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES (INCLUDING THE COVER, INNER, STICKERS, POSTERS, LABELS, MATRIXES & INSERTS!) FIRSTLY THE MATRIXES ON THE RECORD, ARE THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - ENDING IN A2/B2 (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  SECONDLY THE LABELS ALSO HAVE THE CORRECT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT (LATER PRESSINGS HAD THIS CHANGED THIS TO 'EMI RECORDS' TEXT INSTEAD!)!!!!  THIRDLY THE RECORD LABELS HAVE THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'SOLID LIGHT BLUE' TRIANGLE ON BOTH SIDES - WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE COMMON 'TRANSPARENT' TRIANGLE (WHICH APPEARS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!) AS THE TEXT WAS HARD TO READ (AND IT DIDNT MATCH THE COVER!)!!!!  FOURTHLY THE STICKERS HAVE 'FASSON' & 'FASPRINT' CRACKBACK ON THE REVERSE OF THE STICKERS (LATER ONES DONT!).  FIFTHLY, THE INNER LOOKS TO BE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TYPE - BEING BLACK, AND 'DIE-CUT'!!!!  AND LASTLY THE COVER IS ALSO A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER TOO - MADE BY 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' & HAS THE VERY RAREST 1ST PRESS VARIATION - BEING 'FACTORY SEALED' AT ONE END!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

HOWEVER TO BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE ON THIS LP - THERE ARE 2 STRANGE DETAILS I MUST MENTION!!!!  AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS - I KNOW FOR A 100% FACT, THAT THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE 1973 WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED.  SO HERE AT THE FEW STRANGE EXTRA DETAILS:-

1) Although the one previous owner was very insistent that the inner has been with this set since 1973, and is EXACTLY correct in size and shape - for some reason there is NO 'silver text' and NO 'poly lining'.  However despite me pointing this out to the 1 previous owner, he was absolutely certain this is how he first obtained the LP back in 1973.

2) Although the cover still has the very VERY faintest hint of Blue under close examination, and is THICK and QUALITY - and definitely NOT a later cover, it is far more black than blue.  And it also has definitely NOT been swopped.  And it also has the RAREST 1st Press 'Factory Sealed At One End' type of 1st Press cover - and NOT the thinner type of later covers!  Still I thought it was best to clear here, even though construction is VERY thick and quality and points to the 'day of release' back in 1973!!!!  And this is something I have only rarely seen before on a 1st Pressing of 'Dark Side Of The Moon'!!!!

SO ALTHOUGH THIS LP IS IN UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE (WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED!) - I THOUGHT IT IMPORTANT TO MENTION THESE DETAILS ABOVE!!!!

No is SHVL 804 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Solid Light Blue Triangle' Harvest label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall and still looks BRILLIANT at first glance!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and under normal room conditions - this record still looks BRILLIANT and is VERY glossy & shiny looking indeed!!!!  However, even though this record is VERY bright & shiny looking, under light you can see a few mostly VERY light lines to either side of the record, NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, NO nasty 'tick' marks AT ALL, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Even under light however, the overall impression is still of JET BLACK and bright & shiny looking vinyl, and it still looks very VERY nice indeed!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO skips, only a few light clicks/pops (though mostly NONE!), NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  Of course, common to almost ALL copies of this LP (as manufactured!) there is some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is lost WAY behind ALL but the VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY!!!!  And of course, most of this LP is very VERY loud indeed and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Importantly there are NO jumps on the track 'Money' (most do!) - with this track (and the rest of the LP!) playing through without ANY tracking issues AT ALL!!!!  The actual sound quality itself is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  Most people here would grade 'VG' - but even though this record is SUPERBLY bright and shiny, I will be MEGA strict and only grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better, to avoid any disappointment!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in what looks to be its ORIGINAL Black inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 2 'SHINY' POSTERS AND 2 'FASPRINT' STICKERS ARE IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAVENT EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold Cover (with both ends open!) is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rips, NO tears, NO writing impressions, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE' - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
