Grading

Vinyl - VG+

The vinyl plays through without any jumps or skips. The first pressing of this LP is renowned for jumping on the track “money”, even in mint condition as it was a pressing fault from the factory. I’ve been lucky enough to have had a number of “solid blue” pressings and all of them have had a jump/skip on the track “money”.

The vinyl has a number of light/wispy hairlines and paper scuffs but nothing deep or feelable. No continuous clicking and no crackle. There are some sporadic and subtle clicks but nothing overpowering. Some light background noise between tracks and the run-in/run-out grooves but again nothing bad or overpowering. The audio plays very well, loud and punchy where needed. The vinyl sits perfectly flat and is a solid pressing with no faults.

Sleeve - VG

Some edge wear and storage wear but no rips or seam splits. Original “green tinge” sleeve. It’s very easy to tell if the sleeve has been swapped for a later copy as it will be a darker shade or full black. Only the first issue comes with the slightly off-black (green tinge) sleeve. There are no posters or stickers I’m afraid.

Labels - VG+

Both labels are clean and without rips or writing.
