The Mason-Steel Connection was first conceived in early 1981 by George Mason Staerkel and Jon Steel Lennox. The group began as a writing team and culminated in the production of this album, all songs composed by the duo.
Later the group enlarged to include such well-knowns as "Don't Take my Picture", Denny Slater, John "Prof" Wibbins; "One MoreTime", Chuck Boyd and of course the two lovely ladies, "Mad" Mary Beth McGuire and ;Country Gal" Jeri Cartee.
This particular album demonstrates no particular style and has been called a practical study of versatility.
