This is the original 1966 pressing, NOT a reissue Record Store Day copy, nor a later "bootlegged" copy. This is the original deal! Extremely hard to find in ANY condition, but this copy is SUPERB! Sweet EX vinyl. Clean, full original gloss. Just a great, great copy!  The labels do have some spindle-marks. Paste-down slick is in super shape (see below for detailed rundown on cover). I've listened to both sides in their entirety, and it sounds fantastic. This record is the result of a recording session, on acid, with Ken Kesey, Ken Babbs, and other Merry Pranksters. Rumoured participation by members of the Grateful Dead - which has put this LP firmly in the "necessary" realm of any serious Dead collector.

Cover / Slick: The generic white cover is in solid shape. The paste down slick has no writing, staining, rips or tears. The spine is smooth and still has a glossy feel. There is some paper loss (of the cracking type - from rub -  all along the bottom edge). There is a 1/2 inch neat split (from corner rub) at top right opening corner. There is a similar rub at bottom right opening corner. There is a minor crease at top right corner. There are two very small spots of paper-loss in bottom right corner of the slick that are somewhat obscured by the black and white graphic. There is a similar small paper-loss spot just to the right of Herb Caen's SF Chronicle blurb box at top right.

See multiple super-size photos for condition.

I have been an eBay seller of collectible vinyl, art, antiques, ephemera, collectible sneakers, musical instruments, rare comic books, gold, silver, and other precious metals for 15 years. I have 100% Positive feedback as a seller and treat every customer with the same respect, care, and honesty that I expect for myself as a buyer.

I grade vinyl strictly, by Goldmine Standards, and post multiple super-size photos. I am meticulous. Records are cleaned with with the Spin Clean system. (I find it simple and extremely effective.) Records are not play-graded - unless otherwise specified.

I offer a no-hassle money-back guarantee. Simple. I treat you as I expect to be treated.
Thanks for looking.

~~ Goldmine-based Grading Scale ~~

MINT (M) / SEALED - Sealed record
NM/M - open, but absolutely flawless. Stunning. As if it was just opened. No factory defects.
NM - TOP copy. perhaps a shadow or a paper wisp. Nothing that affects play.
EX/NM - a played record, from an audiophile's collection. Might have extremely minor signs of handling, paper-wisp, but nothing that can be felt with a fingernail. This will satisfy all but the most demanding audiophile looking for an "archival" copy.
VG+ - a clean, glossy, playable record with minor wear. NOT a beat-up copy. Might have one or two light scratches. Nothing that causes skipping or overpowering noise. Still a solid copy. (I've seen online sellers call these condition records "Near Mint" !! I'm not one of those guys!~) This is a well cared for record from a quality collection.

All of the above grades are collectible quality grades. I DO NOT sell beat up stuff!!

I use grades in between, or combining the grades, when necessary. I have been selling records on eBay since 2002. I have taken a break the last couple of years, but have some time and will be selling some copies from my personal collection.

ANY GRADES BELOW VG+ I USUALLY DON'T BOTHER WITH, UNLESS IT IS AN EXTREMELY DESIREABLE DISC. In the case of VG, VG-, or G+, I will always clean and listen to the entire disc, noting any skips or other problems, and I will list them.

PACKING AND SHIPPING:
I use only heavy-duty Bags Unlimited custom LP and 45 mailing boxes. I cut my own 12x12 corrugated inserts, and also use 12x12 small-bubble sheets.
Open records are removed from their covers, and any custom - or label-specific - inner and placed in clean, new white inners. Cover, disc, and inners are then sealed in clean, new poly sleeves.

I DO-NOT use the cheap white mailing boxes. I am meticulous and professional, and I ship same - or next day.
