On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Elastic Band called "Expansions On Life" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Decca Nova label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE DECCA / DERAM NOVA LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION (WITH A BRILLIANT RECORD!) - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DECCA NOVA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROBERT STACE' LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca Nova UK 1st pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SDN 6 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Decca Nova Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels (see pictures) have NO wear, some discolouration to 1 label ONLY, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The  ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Robert Stace' Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition overall - with absolutely NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, a thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, NO rips, NO tears, shiny laminate, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is still beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  The unlaminated back of the cover has NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO yellowing, NO writing, and only the usual VERY slight ringwear/rubbing which this cover type always seems to have.  Now, normally this cover would grade around Very Good+ if not better with the details above, but it does have a fair amount of creases on the laminated cover front (mainly around the record shape / edges, with the main centrall front being uncreased!). Therefore I will be VERY strict and this cover must grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better.  Though it is VERY important to note that this cover has absolutely NO major defects AT ALL (NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO writing, etc!) - and it is only the creasing stopping a higher grading.  And I am VERY certain many people would be FAR less strict than I am being - but I feel it is best to be overly strict to avoid any disappointment!!!!  Still a VERY presentable cover, with NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
