Hello! I'm selling this awesome double lp by The Glove, entitled "The Robert Smith Vocal Demos". The glove was formed during Robert Smith's tenure in Siouxsie and the Banshees. When Siouxsie and drummer Budgie left the group to go record the first Creatures album, Robert Smith (the Cure) and bassist Steven Severin decided to form their own band, and recorded these amazing tracks with Robert singing and both playing a variety of instruments. Upon trying to release them, Robert was informed by his record label that he was contractually prohibited from releasing any album with his lead vocals on them, resulting in the songs being re-recorded with Jeanette Landray on vocals. These are the original Glove recordings as they were intended to be, and this is their first release on vinyl!!. Both lps and the sleeve are in near mint/near mint unplayed condition. Really great stuff and not easy to find! Please check the pictures for track listing and other information. I know the track listing is a little difficult to read, please email me if you'd like the full list. I apologize for the blurriness of the photos, my camera was acting up, the sleeve looks crisp and clean, you will be 100% satisfied, guaranteed! The record will be shipped in a plastic sleeve with the vinyl outside the jacket to prevent splitting.
