This is a 12-inch 78RPM record being sold for display/collection purposes. These type of records were used by radio stations back in the early 50's to promote various items, and new models or features of various products. GE light bulbs and their great quality were promoted on this particular record. Title "When John Was Courting Mary", the story describes not as many light bulbs were needed while John and Mary were courting but more were needed after they got married. The record does play and visually grades VG/VG+. The audio is good with some ticks. It does have some scratches. The music features The Landt Trio, Julie Conway and the music of Johnny Cole.
