Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Beatles - The White Album - Vinyl LP album 1969.
STEREO
3rd pressing from between 1969 and 1970.
Side opening sleeve.
Embossed "The Beatles" logo on the front.
Grey number on a slight downward angle. This is number "140709".
Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 709-1; Side 2: YEX 710-1; Side 3: YEX 711-2; Side 4: YEX 712-2
Includes the 4 photos and the poster.
The photos are in very nice condition.
The poster has signs of handling and some creases. Some of the seams are getting a bit thin and splitting in places. There is also the odd little stain but at least the poster is complete.
Vinyl Condition: VG (The records are in nice conditon and play well. There is the odd light mark and light scratch but nothing major. Side 3 has a light scratch visible in photo 6 but plays fine. There was the odd light click but nothing major. Side 3 also has a misaligned centre label. It does not cover the playing surface at all but slightly covers the run-out groove. It does not affect the play at all. There is a slight hiss over the run-out but is fine. Please see photo 6. There is some light crackle and the odd click at the start of one of the sides but no sticks or jumps. Nice sound quality and very enjoyable).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Laminated side opening sleeve is in nice condition. There is some heavy creasing to the top left corner which also affects the inside and the reverse side. Some other light creases here and there but overall the sleeve is very nice for its age).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
