Really decent playing copy of one of The Kinks' classic Sixties albums.

Getting hold of original Pye pressings of Kinks LPs is hard enough, but finding copies that play well is even harder.

The good news is that this still sounds great, 54 years on, and it's a UK 1st press mono with A2/B2 matrices.

The vinyl has plenty of hairlines but these barely bother the audio thanks to the deep Pye grooves. There's one feelable scratch at the end of Dandy on Side 1 that delivers 2-3 tics. Otherwise a great listen.

The front laminate flipback sleeve has a 3-inch tear at the opening edge that has been taped (pictured) and a bit of tape has also been applied to the bottom and top right hand corners There's minor damage to the bottom flipback. Spine is clean and readable.

The pink Pye labels are excellent, and it comes with a lined period inner sleeve.

Great album - every collection should have a copy.
