Rare Northland Shopping Center 3rd Annual Battle of The Bands 1967 Double LP record - Garage Psych. Very few known copies of this legendary double gatefold album recorded live at Northland Shopping Center, Columbus, Ohio in 1967. Competing bands include Restless Knights, King's English, Gears, Tone Benders, Rubber Band, 13th Dilemma, Brass Tax, Unchosen, Verdics, Lapse of Time, Dubonnets, St. Johm's Mod, 4 O'clock Balloon, Lo-Brows, Lorey's and Sound of Us.
If you google this LP title, you can hear at least some of the music on a you tube posting. I know it is odd that the song titles are nowhere to be found on either the cover or the record labels.. Some of the song titles are KNOCK ON WOOD, BROWN EYED GIRL, REACH OUT, DON'T YOU CARE?, I FEEL GOOD, CALIFORNIA DREAMING, SOCK IT TO ME, WHITE RABBIT, DON'T YOU WANT SOMEBODY TO LOVE, STRAWBERRY FIELDS, LOVE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING, & LIGHT MY FIRE.
