Full-length LP from Fred Frith titled "Gravity" released by Ralph Records (FF 8057-L) in 1980. Original first pressing of Fred Frith's first of three albums recorded for The Residents label Ralph Records. Not your typical dance record as Frith put his personal skewed style of playing and arrangements to dance grooves from around the world including Eastern European folk dances. Side One features instrumental backing from members of Sweden's Samla Mammas Manna while Side Two features members of Maryland's The Muffins. Perhaps Fred Frith's most accessible album but still quite freakish and enjoyable. Included is the proper Ralph Records inner sleeve.
