I am the original owner of this record; it is from my personal collection that I began building in the 1950's. I am NOT a dealer or professional record-grader, so I have not assigned grades. However, prior to listing, I have cleaned the record using "Groove Washer G2" record-cleaning fluid, and I have listened to each track. Following is my assessment, based on these visual and listening reviews:
Album features classics: "Mr. Bojangles" (which JJW wrote), "Desperados Waitin for the Train", and "Up Against the Wall, Redneck" !
COVER: in original shrink wrap (torn at upper right corner; not sealed); has original price sticker on wrap; shows some very light wear on the right edge and all corners.
VINYL: very shiny; a few light scratches/scuffs, but nothing that affects play; sound is clear with minimal surface/background noise; only an occasional pop or crackle; plays through without skips or sticking.
LABEL: label is clean with some barely-noticeable wear around center hole.
INNER SLEEVE: about 4" split in center of bottom edge; **sleeve contains lyrics of the songs on the record**; [see photos #7-8]; I am also providing a new inner sleeve due to the condition of the original.
The album will ship in an archival outer vinyl sleeve, and will be boxed in a cardboard album mailer.
