Rock and roll has a long history of controversial album covers. This may be the one of the RAREST of them all!
Here is an original UK Track 1st pressing of the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s double album masterpiece, “Electric Ladyland”.  More specifically, this is the insanely rare 1968 BLUE TEXT sleeve with the larger photographs and the even more rare GHOST LETTERING!!! This is the only copy of this version I have ever seen!
Hendrix expressed initial displeasure and surprise with this "naked lady" cover but later told Rolling Stone Magazine that he "dug it anyway".
The quality of these Hendrix Track originals are legendary!

The laminated gatefold album cover is in VG condition, with some minor ringwear and wear at its corners, edges, and spine.

The discs are both VG+, great gloss with minor marks that do not affect the quality of playback.

Dont miss a chance to own a very cool and RARE Hendrix original!

This ghost text version is part of 'day of release' copies, along with the white type regular first version.

The record labels are as follows, side A is backed with side D, side B is backed with side C. Inners have the British patent no. 800513 & 973939 --- Made in England 098 & 108

Gatefold opens to view inner spread (glued to outer cover's inside tabs as separate element). Gloss laminate may expose matt areas on all four edges because of laminate shrinkage. (Effectively, the sleeve is a flattened 2-piece cardboard tube).

Hendrix portrait on right-hand side (Back cover behind it).
Large sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with blue tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.
