This vinyl appears to be a 5th ISSUE
The Matrix runout stampings are:
side 1: SHVL 804 A9 GOP HTM .
side 2: SHVL 804 B7 TP.
I cant find this exact Matrix on Discogs but the A9 / B7 point to a 5th Issue.
This is a ‘one owner from new’ example of this most classic of all albums that I purchased way back in the 1970s and it has been well looked after. The sleeve and the vinyl are in great condition.
I am not sure how often this has been on the turntable (would have been either Garrard or Thorens) but it shows no signs of use at all. I can’t see ANY marks on the vinyl – it is in totally original condition and no cleaning solutions have been used on it.
This has been in storage for over 30 years (the Hi Fi equipment went when the kids arrived).
Vinyl - looks absolutely pristine.
Cover – shows signs of wear at the centre bottom edge of r/h of gatefold and at very top and very bottom of spine.
