Colourbox (MARRS) Second Version Breakdown/Tarantula 12” EP 4AD 1983 1st Pressing of this release. You can tell because there is no ‘All rights reserved etc’ message around the edge of the white centre label of the vinyl, and the ink is different thickness (see photos)Different marks on the run off too. A slightly different version to the repressing which looks very different inn terms of the grooves too. I am selling both versions, as well as the 1982 version....

This is rarer than the second pressing of 1983, which has a different centre label that is black with a white ‘sunburst’ as opposed to this with grass.

Second Version release of Breakdown/Tarantula (later to be covered by This Mortal Coil. This is different to the re-release of 1982 version also for sale on eBay)

Took me ages back in the day. This one is in great condition including the sleeve.

Martyn and Steven Young, who guested on This Mortal Coil releases and occasionally on other 4AD artist releases, and of course joined A R Kane to form MARRS together with the hit Pump Up The Volume. SO ahead of their time with sampling of cult 1960s/1970s movies like Westworld, The Prisoner in the early 80s! Under-rated genius.

Vinyl is excellent. Sleeve has no spine damage and only slight raising to show where vinyl is beneath, to top edges.

I didn’t get this one new. Had to collect it around 1988.

Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.

From my 4AD once complete record collection 1980 to late 1999.

Slowly selling it off. Any questions please ask.

Will be posted in proper 12” record mailer.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS (Europe or United States) I’ve looked at cost of sending 12” records abroad and the cheapest I can do (at cost price to you) is £5.75 using Royal Mail International Small Parcel/Tube due to the record width in mailer being 35cm wide and weight being over 250g.

It costs me £8.75 but because I offer free postage to UK buyers it only seems fair to take the £3 it costs me to post in UK off the US/Europe price and hence I charge £5.75 not £8.75

Hence I have set the listing to International Sales and this £5.75 option but happy to send by another method of your choosing and we either refund you if cheaper than my method, or organise additional payment.
