Very Rare 45 by The Cuff Links. Songs are: "Next To You" b/w "Only One I Love". Original machine stamped matrix release on Albert Gaitwood's label Gait Records #1445 out of Brooklyn N.Y. released in 1965. DJ Promo Stamped on Only One Love sides label. Condition is VG+ (7) some fine light surface needle marks. Plays loud and well.

Marv Goldberg: "When Alfred Gaitwood left the Air Force after eight years, he settled in New York. In the late 50s he started his own label, Gait, which recorded the Chev-rons (in which he was a member), Lee Ward, the Jades, the Profiles, Allen Bruce, and the Cuff Links. This was actually a white group that came from Alfred's Brooklyn neighborhood. He released one record by them in 1965: "Next To You"/"Only One Love" ("Only One Love" was also released as the "Clicks," with "Teenie Weenie" as the flip). Probably another record by this group was on Palm: "Gee, I Don't Know Why"/"Please Tell Me" (spelled "Cufflinks" on this one). The label mentions the "Alfred Gaitwood Orch."

Grading Scale

10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.

9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.

8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.

7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.

6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.

5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.

4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!

3-2-1: It only goes down from here.

*** I'll gladly take any record back if not satisfied. ***
