Pink Floyd DARK SIDE OF THE MOON 1st UK press SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE A-2 B-2 EX! ~EARLY STAMPERS PO 3/PH 1 WITH ‘MONEY’ PRESSING FAULT~ Original 1st UK press of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973 with 1st press solid blue triangle labels, 1st press A-2 B-2 matrix, 1st large 68mm purple stickered sleeve that is sealed on the left side gatefold panel. The set is complete with all parts: both original 1st press posters; both original 1st press ‘crackback’ postcard stickers; and lastly the orignal black die-cut poly-lined “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” inner sleeve with two patent numbers. This copy is an early PO 3 / PH 1 stamper with the notorious pressing fault on track B1 ‘Money’ that skips and distorts during the intro.

Condition: Lovely condition. The disc is glossy and clean with light signs of play, EXCELLENT. Please bear in mind the pressing fault on track B1 ‘Money’ that skips and distorts during the intro and then settles. This was a well-known pressing fault that affected some early copies of the 1st press and was fixed on the later A-3 B-3 cut. Aside from this the disc plays EXCELLENT. The labels are clean. The sleeve and large purple sticker is very nice! Light signs of storage only, EXCELLENT PLUS! Both posters are MINT- no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes. Both postcard stickers are MINT- unused. The original black poly-lined has light signs of handling, no splits, fully intact lining, EXCELLENT PLUS. GREAT SET!
