Good listening copy of this punchy 1967 soul / rock / psych LP from Simon Dupree and The Big Sound on Parlophone.
This is a UK 1st pressing on the black and yellow labels.
The front laminated flipback sleeve has a little damage to the top edge, wear to the spine and corners, some feathering to the opening edge, and the back cover has a name and a date written on it, some minor staining and some spine creasing. It grades VG overall.
The vinyl has plenty of marks and hairlines but nothing too major and as is common with these Sixties heavyweight Parlophone pressings, sounds much better than it looks! Visually it grades Good+ to VG, but the audio sounds much more like VG+ – some surface noise but the music overpowers it and it's a clean, crisp and loud sound throughout.
The labels are a good VG++ with just a little spindle wear.
Excellent condition white poly lined inner sleeve.
This bunch went on to form cult prog band Gentle Giant.
Collectable album with a realistic start price!
