ELTON JOHN HONKY CHATEAU ORIGINAL UK 1972 DJM RED TRANSLUCENT VINYL LP A2 / B2 'BOBIL' 2ND  PRESS TEXTURED SLEEVE  -  RARE!

Vinyl VG+ condition - a couple of very light non-feelable scuffs and hairlines but plays excellently with no skips and jumps   

A2 / B2 'Bobil / Rasputin' etched matrices

A really top pressing of this iconic Elton John LP - sounds superb!  Rich, detailed and full second press audio!

The black vinyl is translucent red when held to the light - making this a very rare and collectible edition of this iconic LP .

Later pressings were simply black vinyl.

The textured 'leather look' Gatefold cover is in VG condition with a few light corner scuffs and some minor age spotting commensurate with age. 

The textured sleeve was only issued with the very early pressings. 

Vinyl is housed in the original generic off white inner sleeve EX

Due to a house move I am reluctantly downsizing my large collection of vinyl LPs - mostly bought at the time of release and have had minimal play as I taped them back in the day and listened mainly on cassettes. I always tried to buy the earliest pressings and made sure all the extras, inserts, booklets, limited edition covers etc were included.  

Stored upright in a dust and pet free environment they are now ready to move on to a new collection.
