This increasingly rare blue beat compilation was issued in 1968 and brought the dance floor-friendly grooves of ska, rock steady, lovers rock and more to those with ears to hear in the UK, thanks to 10 killer cuts from Soul Vendors, The Termites, Jackie Mittoo, Alton Ellis, Keith & Ken, Dudley Sibley and The Soul Brothers. 
This copy has been well used and well loved but still has life in it yet. 
The front laminated sleeve has creasing, ringwear, corner wear, the top edge has been taped and there is a split to the spine (pictured). It grades Fair. 
The vinyl has some, marks and hairlines, but the heavyweight vinyl and deep grooves are very forgiving and it actually plays through OK with audio that is loud and clear, albeit with some surface noise and some tics at times. Visually it grades Good + to VG, but the audio is much more like VG+. 
The Side 1 label has some writing and colouring in and grades VG-, while Side 2 label is a clean EX. 
Plain white inner sleeve.
