FIY: Not many people know that before he became an International Super-Star mainly as a pianist/singer/composer (cantoautor) he lived here in Miami within the Cuban community when the early 60s influx happened. He performed in many piano bars locally, sometimes as accompaniment of other exiled artists like Pedro Vargas. (Mexican national but lived in Cuba until his properties were confiscated and relocated in Miami)  I believe this is one of a couple of albums he recorded then for Discuba along with so many Cuban artists. They had a very limited release and most likely "shelved" until he became the famous Super-Star.
