a first pressing of the lp "Angola prison spirituals" as released on 77 Records 77 LA-12-13 in 1962 in the UK. These spirituals/ blues songs were recorded at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola in the late 1950s. Best known performer here is Robert Pete Williams who had a career after being released from that prison. Grading: the record: vg++ condition (plays with some crackles) the cover: vg++ condition (bit of wear & discoloration) All my lp's have been cleaned on a professional Pro-Ject record cleaning machine for more and better listening pleasure! all items are sent by priority airmail only and expensive orders by trackable priority airmail so they can be traced in case there is problem. Items are shipped twice a week.
