PLEASE READ THE GRADING/POSTAL NOTES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LISTING SO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN!!.
THE RECORD PLAYS AS EX(+). See grading notes below.
This is an extremely rare ED0 pressing on the Decca record label from 1960.
This is highly unusual.
I checked on a well known ebay auction results site and
found only 2 ED0 "pancake" examples of SXL 2062. That is how rare this example is,
A first Decca pressing WITHOUT the usual Decca groove but still showing
the "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" TEXT".
Produced by James Walker and engineered by Roy Wallace.
These pieces were recorded in October and November 1957
at Victoria Hall, Geneva with the Suisse Romande Orchestra conducted by Ernest Ansermet.
This recording was released in June 1960.
The record plays without any jumps or repeats though there is the odd dust static,
and only a slight bit of crackle as is common at the start of these old records.
After all the record is over 62 years old!
There are some sleeve removal marks.
The disc comes with its ORIGINAL "FFSS" inner blue sleeve.
The sleeve is EX with no tears or splits. Just the usual
signs of shelf wear as you would expect
on a sleeve of this age..
I play ALL my records in their entirety and do not guess as to what they sound like..
The records are fully played and NOT JUST GUESSED AT! . (see below for gradings)
Absolutely no major problems like repeats or jumps. Strict RC gradings.

NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.
EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover on extra items without any major defects s acceptable
Sleeves:- as per photos.
