I try to adhere to the Goldmine standard when grading records.
Record: Very Good+. Plays great. A few surface scuffs on side 2.
Cover / Outer Sleeve: Very Good. Edges and corners are a little worn.
Inner Sleeve: Good. Looks great but has seam splits.
To protect the record from surface wear and dust during shipping I place each record in a new poly inner sleeve.
The record and cover are placed in a sealed polybag to protect them from moisture and boxed in a standard 12” corrugated record mailer with bubble wrap on both sides.
