Lovely copy of this excellent Sonny Rollins compilation issued on Fontana in 1965, and featuring the tenor sax genius along with top performers like Sonny Clark, Percy Heath, Roy Haynes, Kenny Dorham, Paul Chambers, Oscar Pettiford and Max Roach.
The sleeve has one area of minor damage to the bottom right corner (pictured) but otherwise is in excellent shape with no other wear of any note.
The heavyweight vinyl has some marks and hairlines but plays through really nicely and grades close to excellent. Excellent black and silver Fontana labels with a textured surface.
The poly lined inner sleeve has a few wrinkles and some browning at the bottom but grades a solid VG+.
High class jazz and a very decent copy.
