Mint   (M)

·       Never played

·       Possibly in unwrapped sealed Record Jacket

Near Mint (NM)

·       Played only a ‘couple’ of times

·       Plays perfectly with no background noise

·       No obvious signs of wear

·       Record Jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes or other defects

·       Picture Sleeve/Inserts (if provided) in same condition as Record Jacket

Very Good+  (VG+)

·       Some minor (slight) signs of wear from use, not affecting playback

·       scuffs

·       scratches

·       warps

·       wear on picture sleeves

·        wear on inner sleeves including split seam

·       Record Jacket may have cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner but otherwise would be NM

Very Good (VG)

·       Signs of wear will be more pronounced than VG+

·       Surface noise evident during play, especially soft passages

·       Beginning of groove wear

·       Light scratches that make noise

·       Record Labels, Record Jacket, and or Picture sleeves marred by writing, tape, stickers, or residue, BUT not all at same time.

Good +     (G)+

·       Signs of wear more pronounced than VG

·       Elevated surface noise and “ticks” from scratches and grove wear

·       Record Jacket will have some evidence of ring-wear from record

Good    (G)

·       Signs of wear more pronounced than G+

·       Record Jacket large splits

·       Tape writing ring wear on Record Jacket

·       Some skipping may occur

Fair/Poor (F/P)

·       Record may be cracked, badly warped, and will skip

·       Inner / Picture sleeve has water damage, spit on all three sides, heavily marred by wear/writing

·       Inner sleeve is fully split crinkled, and written on

·       Record Jacket barely holds record
