Nice early pressing of The Beatles 1969 classic Abbey Road. This ticks all the 1st pressing boxes – no Her Majesty reference on sleeve or Side 2 label, visible drain on front cover, apple on back cover aligned with text. The only difference is 33 1/3 on the labels is not left aligned.
Very nice laminated sleeve with minimal wear - just the odd laminate wrinkle and minor spine crease. Very close to excellent.
The vinyl inevitably has some marks and hairlines but plays through really well with clear, loud audio - the odd touch of surface noise here and there and perhaps a couple of tics, but otherwise very clean. Visually looks VG+ but plays much better than that.
Excellent Apple labels - no marks, writing or significant wear.
Matrices YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1.
Original white inner sleeve is included but I've put the record in a more recent poly lined black inner sleeve, similar to the kind issued with early pressings.
Great listen, great album - nice copy for collectors.

On 15-Apr-23 at 07:00:23 BST, seller added the following information:Many apologies - I somehow missed the fact that Your Majesty on Side 2 is on the label (but not on the sleeve), so this is very likely a second pressing. Sorry for any confusion caused.
