THE RECORD PLAYS AS NEAR MINT
This pressing plays with superb audio across both sides and has been so well preserved down the years.
It can only have been played sparingly which is how it has retained its original sonic quality.
It is easily one of the finest examples I have heard and seen. The vinyl is visually stunning, it just could not look
any better, and the previous owner clearly handled them with extreme care.
The same applies to the cover which is also in fantastic condition with no obvious wear.
It truly is a fantastic example. No creases, marks or writing on it
The opening has no feathering, top and bottom seams as new and the spine is straight and true
with clear and undamaged print.
The insert is in equally fine condition.
Original die cut inner white sleeve.
The audio on Side 1 is Near Mint
The audio on Side 2 is Near Mint
The labels are Near Mint (see photos for close ups).
Visual grading
The vinyl is in beautiful condition and has an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen with no marks or scratches.
At first glance you would think they were brand new such is the stunning visual quality. The run out grooves are
unmarked and the labels are also super clean with no marking and NO spindle marks showing how little usage
this LP has had.
Play grading
The intro on "A Reflection" plays " with incredible clarity, silent run in and run out
The start of "Play for Today" has no background and then plays with outstanding clarity
for the remainder. The run-in and run-out are silent. Soundless.
"Secrets" provides more evidence of a vinyl that has been so well preserved.
This is a quiet track and yet there is not even a single dust tick let alone anything worse!
This is audio of the highest calibre and Near Mint is easily deserved. The run-in and run-out are silent.
"In Your House" and "Three" finishs side 1 and play to perfection. There is no background static and again the clarity
cannot be faulted. Near Mint. Again silent run-in and run-out
The start of " The Final Sound" has no background and the opening vocal is so clean. From then it plays beautifully
with a clarity of sound that is STUNNING! As per all the other tracks the sonic quality is so impressive and
if anyone told you this side had never been been played before you would believe them!
The intro on "A Forest" is faultless. It just plays beautifully from start to finish with no intrusion. Again silent run-in and run-out.
"M" Another outstanding track plays completely silently in. through and out.
"At Night" and "Seventeen seconds" finish side 2 and play with not only silently but also silent run-ins & run-outs.
As always I have played every track in full. I cannot emphasise enough just how strong and clear the audio is, the playback is stunning.
As stated in my introduction the previous owner really knew how to look after his LPs.
