This is the first edition with embossed letters on the front of the sleeve

This pressing plays with superb audio across all sides and has been so well preserved down the years.
It can only have been played sparingly which is how it has retained its original sonic quality.
There is a non sounding non feelable hairline on side 3. Be aware.

The cover is in super condition with no creases, marks or writing on it. See photos.
The opening has no feathering, top and bottom seams as new and the spine
is straight and true with fully legible print.

The inner printed sleeves are easily EX+ with no writing, no marks & no tears.

As always I have played every track in full. I cannot emphasise enough just how strong and clear the audio is, the playback is stunning.
As stated in my introduction the previous owner really knew how to look after his LPs and this may be one of the best of the bunch!

The audio on Side 1 is Near Mint
The audio on Side 2 is Near Mint.
The audio on Side 3 is Near Mint
The audio on Side 4 is Near Mint.
The labels are Near Mint (see photos for close ups).

The discs will be sent with NAGAOKA anti static inner sleeves.

Visual grading

The vinyl is in beautiful condition and has an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen. There is a
non feelable non sounding hairline on side 3. Be aware.

“Ceremony” is the 1981 re-recorded version with Gillian Gilbert, “Temptation” and “Confusion” are May 1987 re-recordings, and “Subculture”, “Shellshock”, and “Hurt” are edited versions
These alterations were implemented due to storage limitations of physical media in 1987
and have remained in place on reissues.

GRADING NOTES - POSTAL RATES. Records:- strict Record Collector gradings.
NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.  EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch.
