ONE OF RECORD COLLECTINGS MOST IMPORTANT ARTIFACTS..THE BEATLES "Please Please Me" MONO UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS GOLD/BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS SIDE 1.Matrix Nos XEX 421-1-N Stamper No "GG", SIDE 2.XEX 422-1-N STAMPER "P" with the first press only "Dick James" Miss Credits on the labels This happened as the LP was being rush released because of the unexpected top 20 success of the first 2 x singles Producer George Martin sent over to the printers his track listing which mistakenly credited "Dick James" on some tracks instead of "Northern Songs" This mistake was quickly picked up on and only a few thousand of these "Miss Credits" went out of the plant Estimates vary on how many exist and Ive seen suggestions of as low as 900 and as high as 25,000 In any event this is one of them WHOS TO SAY ITS NOT THE VERY FIRST ONE It fits all those FIRST PRESS only essentials including the positioning of the "Angus McBean" cover photo credit The all Important FIRST PRESS COVER is in Great EXCELLENT/EX PLUS CONDITION Best cover on one of these we have seen (Check out the quality of the "White" rear of the cover) The FIRST PRESS VINYL is in VERY GOOD CONDITION (some marks) with EXCELLENT TEST PLAY QUALITY A REALLY ENJOYABLE LISTEN The BLACK/GOLD LABELS are in TOP CONDITION Of course as the debut LP of The Beatles copies of this rarity are often hard played but not this one The tight spindle is evidence of that IF I WAS MARKING THIS SUPER RARITY OUT OF TEN I WOULD GIV E IT AN EIGHT SO HARD TO FIND We recently sold one of these with the following feedback received "Excellent,Record is better than I expected,Fabulous E Bayer,Very Highly Recommended" BID WITH CONFIDENCE We are starting at 0.99p to let it find its own true level This record must be sent SPECIAL DELIVERY (TRACK/SIGN) If you do not wish to pay this safety net postage price please do not bid GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING THETIMETUNNELUK
