 "SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" PARLOPHONE PMC 7020 UNBANDED MONO 1st PRESSING

           The record plays with a lovely rock sound of mid 60's  Beatles recordings.

This a first pressing with "SOLD IN THE U.K." text on the labels. "The Gramophone Co Ltd."  and "SOLD IN THE U.K." text on labels. Visible flaps inside the gatefold. Red and white  "The Fool's" inner sleeve. Cutout insert.

Rare misprinted Side 1 label with a stray full stop  SOLD IN.U.K. (see photo)  
 The vinyl plays as easily EX with nothing to cause any problems overall a very good example that plays  with no pops no tics no repeats.
The album comes with its Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated first issue gatefold sleeve which is in clean very good condition with no stickers or unwanted writing etc but shows some wear to the corners and some light creasing and spine wear as can be seen in my photos. There is a tear at 3 o'clock on the front of the cover. I will also include a good clean undamaged sleeve as well but it is a stereo version. See the last of the photos for this sleeve,
This also comes with its card insert which is clean and intact.
This comes complete with its original "The Fool's"  inner. A lot of the time these are missing but this one is present and in clean condition but has a small nick at the opening side and has some creases.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say is nice player with great mono audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
THIS IS AN VERY RESPECTABLE PLAYING ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS LANDMARK ALBUM. 
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me.

COVER. Some small laminate spider lines.  Some minor shelf/corner wear. Not surprising for a record that is nearly 56 years old.

NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.  EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch.
